"Thanatos Unleashed is the long-awaited debut offering from a Danish trio going under the moniker of Symbolizer. Maybe not the most original band name, but this relatively young band kicks some serious balls. In the recent years a Danish scene has seen the revival of new way of Thrash metal acts. They all have something in common; an anger and enthusiasm for this kind of music spiced with modern techniques and production. What maybe separates these Danes from the rest is their more melodic approach. They're still in a possession of a typical dirty heavy riffing, intense drumming and very tight bass parts. Actually both instruments are very much forward in the overall sound picture, making it a true pleasure to listen to this opus."

Copenhagen has pumped out some more really good music I am hearing with this. Mercyful Fate and King Diamond are all time favorites and now finally something else from there that really grabs my attention. I could see myself blasting this through my stereo speakers on a regular basis. Would love to have a cd of this music.
